What is Challenging Experience ?
Challenging Experience is a privately owned company that specializes in operating tailor made tours in Israel's southern Deserts. The company has been running since 1991 and provides services to some of Israel's biggest and best known tour companies and travel agents such as EGGED, DIEZENHAUS, SPNI, ISROTEL, RIMONEY HA'GALIL, TIUL ACHER and many others.
Who owns Challenging Experience ?
Challenging Experience is owned and run by it's founder Adam Sela. Adam is a highly qualified and extremly experienced desert specialist:
Israel Tourist Authourity licenced Desert Tour Guide.
Wingate Institute qulified Climbing and Rappelling Instructor
IDF qualified High Angle Rescue Specialist
IDF qualified Alpine Equipment Inspector.
A leading member of the Negev Highlands Search and Rescue Team.
Active volunteer Paramedic (EMT-P) with Magen David Adom (Israel's national ambulance service)
Volunteer Game Ranger with the Israel National Parks Authourity.
Volunteer member of Israeli Police Home Guard.
What about insurance ?
Although to date we have never needed to place an insurance claim we still invest in a very good policy that provides cover for both our clients and our staff and no small print land mines. All our activities are fully insured including camel rides, mountain biking and rappelling.
